What is Godly/Devine love ?

Godly-Divine Love is a spiritual group that strives to spread a message of reconciliation between Jews and Christians who believe in God, based on the fact that we are all children of one God who loves all people equally. A basic principle of the group is that God's primary attribute is universal love and that the emphasis (for Him) should not be on observance of “external” commandments in order to please Him, but primarily on the observance of the commandment of love. The members of the group believe in one God, the Creator of the world who created everything out of love and directs humanity to liberation from the state of the materialistic-carnal man imprisoned in the "flesh" and his weaknesses (sins), and to his transformation into a spiritual person connected with his/her creator God. This will gradually bring not only a self-transformation, but also a change of our environment and of the entire world, towards a state of a new world, the "Kingdom of Godly love". We believe that Jesus, the Jew of Nazareth, is the ultimate example of a way of life that leads to the realization of self-transformation and the transformation of the world in the direction of the eternal kingdom of love.

A central view of the group members is that God is by no means the source of evil in the world (nor the source of disasters, disease, and death), but on the contrary, it is the distancing from Him that has brought our world to the current state in which evil reigns. Moreover, it was man (after his spiritual "fall") who brought upon himself (and all of humanity) most of the decrees of our day by giving authority to the forces of evil (Satan) to take over our lives and the entire world. We must take back our authority that we have transfered to the evil, through love and faith. We believe that through faith that works in love, and prayer, great miracles can be performed, such as healing diseases and solving every human problem.

Our aims:

1.         To bring peace among all believers in God (even those who are considered "secular") despite different religious backgrounds and traditions, by understanding that we are all children of the same God who loves us all, based on the Bible, centered on the Bible and the New Testament     

2.        The "purification" of God's name, which has paradoxically become a source of religious conflict in our day, because of the perception that God is "sympathetic" to a certain group of people over others, and plans to eliminate the enemies of His "preferred group," those who are considered "sinners" according to their perception.

3.        The group intends to spread these messages through lectures and meetings aimed at bringing hearts closer and changing misconceptions about God. In these encounters, we read the Holy Scriptures (the Bible and the New Testament) and try in a more liberal and broader way (which does not necessarily depend on the interpretations of religions) to understand God's purposes and what He asks of us, always with an emphasis on God's universal love.

4.        To hold prayer groups (not in the classical religious version) in order to help people's problems (and the greater problems of the world) and for the correction of the entire world and for the coming of the "Kingdom of God" of love.

5.        Helping the needy and volunteering to social activities.

6.        To fight against the evil within us and to try, with God's help, to change ourselves in the direction of a spiritual person who is connected to God and who will become more patient and tolerant, peace-seeking, "pure", and most importantly to increase our ability to love.

The group plans to distribute videos and lectures on these topics via the Internet
